Product condition is identified based on the condition of the individual item and available packaging and documentation.
New: The product is new and supplied in original manufacturer packaging.
New – Other: The product is new but not in original factory seal.
Refurbished: The product has been previously repaired or refurbished. Available documentation regarding the repair, refurbishment, or testing will be provided when applicable.
Used: The product has been previously owned or used and may show signs of prior use. Specific condition information will be provided when available.

In the event of a pricing, availability, or product information error, Capitol Area Technology reserves the right to correct the error and, when applicable, cancel or modify an affected order before fulfillment.

Product lead times are estimates and may vary based on manufacturer availability, supplier availability, shipping conditions, and other circumstances outside of Capitol Area Technology’s control.
Capitol Area Technology accepts major credit cards for purchases made through our website.
Additional payment methods, including PayPal and wire transfer, may be available for orders placed directly with Capitol Area Technology. Applicable processing, convenience, or wire transfer fees will be disclosed prior to payment.
Payment is required prior to shipment unless payment terms have been approved by Capitol Area Technology. Approved payment terms are subject to the conditions established for the customer’s account.
Orders may be held until required payment has been received and verified.
Customers requesting tax-exempt status must provide valid and current tax-exemption documentation acceptable to the applicable taxing authority.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is accurate and that purchases made using tax-exempt status qualify for the applicable exemption. Capitol Area Technology reserves the right to request additional documentation or reject a tax-exemption request when appropriate.
Customers remain responsible for any taxes determined to be due as a result of inaccurate, expired, or invalid exemption information.
Customers are responsible for applicable shipping, handling, insurance, taxes, tariffs, duties, and other transportation-related charges unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Customers may provide their own shipping account when available. If a shipping account is not provided, Capitol Area Technology may arrange shipment and add the applicable shipping charges to the order.
Orders require processing prior to shipment. Expedited processing and shipping options may be available upon request and may be subject to additional fees.
Delivery dates and transit times are estimates and may be affected by carrier delays, customs processing, manufacturer availability, and other circumstances outside of Capitol Area Technology’s control.
Products submitted for repair are subject to evaluation before repair services are performed. Following evaluation, Capitol Area Technology will provide applicable repair information and pricing for customer approval.
If the customer chooses not to proceed with the repair, the product may be returned at the customer’s expense.
Repair warranties vary depending on the product and the nature of the repair. Applicable warranty terms will be communicated with the repair quote or documentation and, when applicable, included with the returned product.
Cancellations within 24 hours
Orders may be canceled without a cancellation fee when cancellation is requested within 24 hours of the original order, provided the order has not already been processed, shipped, or otherwise committed for fulfillment.
Returns within 30 days of the original invoice
Eligible products may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date. Products must be returned in the condition in which they were received. Products that have been opened, altered, used, or returned without original packaging may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Any product purchased by mistake is also subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is the result of an error by Capitol Area Technology. If an incorrect product was shipped, please contact us so that the return can be reviewed and appropriate arrangements can be made.
Returns after 30 days
Returns are not accepted more than 30 days after the original invoice date unless otherwise authorized by Capitol Area Technology.
International orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, tariffs, brokerage fees, and other charges imposed by the destination country or applicable authorities. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Customs requirements and processing times vary by country and may result in delivery delays outside of Capitol Area Technology’s control.
International orders are subject to applicable U.S. export laws and regulations. Capitol Area Technology reserves the right to decline or cancel any transaction that cannot legally be completed.
Payment verification and international wire transfers may require additional processing time.
International returns are subject to Capitol Area Technology’s standard return requirements unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Customers are responsible for international return shipping costs, customs charges, duties, taxes, and other costs associated with a return unless the return results from an error by Capitol Area Technology.
Refunds apply to eligible product costs and do not include original shipping, duties, taxes, customs charges, or other third-party fees unless otherwise agreed.
All international returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
